Hinsdale Humane Society – Call for Artists All Ages

It’s that time of year again for our annual ARF Gallery, an animal-themed art exhibition, on Friday, May 17th, from 7 to 8:30 pm at the Hinsdale Humane Society, hosted by HHS and the volunteer teen Jr. Board.
Inviting schools, artists and groups to collect donated animal-themed artwork from artists of all ages, kindergarten to adults. Art can be any medium, and just ask that it’s animal-themed (absolutely any animal will do, maybe it turns into an assignment). These will be up for sale at our ARF Gallery and all proceeds will benefit the Hinsdale Humane Society.
For anyone that is thinking about offering an assignment to your students or have art yourself to donate for our ARF Gallery Sale (May 17th), please email by April 19th. Even if you only may have a few pieces, anything will do and the event will be fun for your students and public!
Please include the following information when turning in art.
Name, Title (if any) and Medium
If you’re interested in participating, please let me know by Friday, April 19th, with all artwork due by Friday, May 10th, a week before the event.
When responding, if you would be so kind to respond with your name and school/group affiliation. Along with your thoughts on approximately how many pieces you may expect you or your school to contribute (this does not have to be exact).
I will also send out the invite to the event, once we hear back from participants within the next week.
