DESCRIPTION:Click HERE for the Artists on the Bluff 2024 Summer Arts Festival application and information.\nThe festival will be held Saturday\, June 15 and Sunday June 16\, 10 am to 4 PM.\n\nApplication due date May 1\nApplication fee due May 15\nWe would love to have more artists participate this year. \nIf you know of any suitable artists outside AOTB\, please forward them the application or let me know and I will send. \nWe need more artists to balance out the number the number of jewelers who apply as well. \nAdditional Details:\nAOTB has a limited number of 10′ x 10′ tents available for rent. $50 for both days – on a first come\, first serve basis. \nA check for $50 should be included in your application paperwork if your request is approved. \nPlease email ASAP if you would like to rent a tent at: alishoppingdiva@aol.com \nVOLUNTEERS NEEDED \nAOTB Info Tent:   Shifts are 10-1 and 1-4 both days. \nSet up/take down helpers:   Friday 6/14 3 PM – 6 PM and Sunday 4-7 PM (or any portion of these hours). \nPoster\, postcard distribution in LF\, LB and neighboring towns/stores… \nIn ground signs: placement Saturday\, June 15 prior to 10 am and take down Sunday\, June 16 after 4pm. \nSponsorship Solicitors: acquire local business sponsors. \nCross Promotion with Local Businesses: find and create cross promotions with local businesses. \nMarketing: posting online \nBring Water & Ice for cooler in Info Tent: loan and bring us your cooler and donate water bottles and ice or get reimbursed. \nIf you can volunteer\, please email at: alishoppingdiva@aol.com

The two-day\, juried fine art show\, located in historic Lake Forest Market Square\, is free to the public\, and celebrates the individual artisan. \nCome see over 120 exhibitors\, in a variety of disciplines including: ceramics\, digital art\, drawing/pastels\, fiber\, glass\, graphics/printmaking\, jewelry\, metal\, mixed media\, painting\, photography\, sculpture & wood. \nArtists looking to apply to Art Fair on the Square please visit zapplication.org to submit an application. \n*Please note: The Deer Path Art League uses an independent\, numerical\, double-blind jury made of industry professionals to curate this event and artists. DESCRIPTION:COD Visiting Artist Series Presents:\nDylan Miner\n2/13/24\, 11am-12pm — Belushi Auditorium \n \nJoin us Tuesday\, February 13th at 11am in Belushi Auditorium for a special lecture by visiting artist Dylan Miner!  \nThis lecture is free and open to the public. \nDylan AT Miner is an artist\, activist\, and scholar. He holds a PhD in Arts of the Américas from The University of New Mexico. He is currently Associate Dean for Research and Graduate Education in the Penny W. Stamps School of Art & Design at the University of Michigan. Previously\, he served as Dean and Professor in the Residential College in the Arts and Humanities (RCAH) at Michigan State University. As an artist\, he has hung nearly 30 solo art exhibitions\, as well as participated in more than 115 group exhibitions. He is a founding member of the artist collective Justseeds. His book Creating Aztlán: Chicano Art\, Indigenous Sovereignty\, and Lowriding Across Turtle Island(2014) was published by the University of Arizona Press. Born and raised in Michigan\, Miner is a citizen of the Métis Nation of Ontario.
